As I understand it, *.nuv isn't exactly MPEG-2, though I admit I haven't
looked into the issue seriously.

If you want to create a very short (2 - 4 minutes) recording and make it
available to me via http download, I'll take a look at it and see if I can
figure out what it takes to make it play.  Like I said before, I suspect
it's a codec issue.
