Mike,
The first thing that comes to mind is that perhaps your mysql accounts are
only set up to access from localhost, not remote hosts. Check the user
table in the mysql database to see if you have a user account with either
'%' or your windows computer's IP address as the "host". If not, you need
to create an additional mythtv user account with the host set to "%".
If that doesn't work, download the MySQL GUI Tools from the MySQL web
site. http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/gui-tools/5.0.html. The MySQL
Administator and the MySQL Query Browser might be helpful.
If that doesn't work, let me know. I'm on the road at the moment, but
will get back to you when I have access to internet.
